About Us
The Eagle and Child is a historic 16th Century inn steeped in history - we have even had guest ghost appearances in the past! A range of good real ales, and some great pub food and local charm, can be found here. A great patio area and heaters will help you enjoy the visit, rain or shine. The Eagle and Child pub is easy to stop off at Junction 28 on the M6 when visiting the Lake District, Blackpool and The Pennines. We are only 5 minutes away from the British Commercial Vehicle Museum and also a stop on the Leyland Historical Walk meaning there is plenty to do and see when staying with us.
